We build small, honest tools that help you plan every coastal step around the ocean’s schedule.
Coastal Hiking Tide Planner started from a simple frustration: on the shore, the hardest thing is rarely the walking — it is knowing when the water will come back in. Most of us have stood on a sandbar, mid-afternoon, wondering whether the tide is rising or falling and whether the exit path is about to vanish. We wanted one calm place to answer that, without accounts, ads that track you across the web, or a paywall.
So we built a set of small, fast tools that run entirely in your browser. You give us the next high tide from your local official tide table, and our tools sketch out the curve, your safe windows, your cut-off risk and your best low-water hours. Everything runs offline after the first load, and nothing you type ever leaves your device.
Twenty-five tools and a growing guide library, organised around five needs:
A small independent group of hikers, sea-swimmers and photographers who kept noticing the same avoidable problem on the coast: people getting caught out by the tide because nobody gave them the timing in a friendly, checkable way. We are not a weather service, a harbour authority or a rescue organisation. We are tool-makers who care about getting people home with dry boots and good stories.
